Thank you so much to all of you who came to The Mark Bar and contributed to
our Tsunami Relief Benefit. Thanks to you, it was a tremendous success! We raised
$1200 which was kindly matched by Miller High Life and the Brooklyn Brewery,
for a grand total of $3600. Well done!
We'd like to thank Tommy and Bobby of The Mark Bar for hosting yet another
wonderful community event. A special thanks and thumbs up to Lamb and Jaffy who
graciously supplied an array of delicious food. Thank you to the DJ’s and
of course, much gratitude to all of the companies who sponsored the night.
Once again, Block Magazine thanks all of you for coming and helping us make
a difference. While the tsunami was a devastating tragedy that requires an immeasurable
response; a small event like this when we as friends and neighbors come together
to do what we can, truly does have a positive and valued impact. And although
we met this time to aid in the healing process of such an unfortunate event,
we look forward to meeting sometime again soon when we can celebrate our Brooklyn
bond in the highest of spirits.
